Kitchen sink areas see a lot of usage and water action. The backsplash perimeter, where the countertop meets the wall, is an area that we see lots of issues. It is important to keep water and moisture out of those tight cracks and crevices. When the caulking is gone or even slightly cracked it may be allowing water to enter underneath your granite or sink perimeter and can eventually turn into an ugly problem. This can easily be remedied and avoided by simple maintenance.
